About Sun

Sun joined our firm in October 2013 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified as a Solicitor in January 2016.  He specialises in regulatory and compliance matters, as well as corporate and commercial law.  Sun has extensive experience representing clients in matters involving regulatory authorities, including the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Insurance Authority (IA), particularly in relation to investigations, inspections, and licence applications.

Sun began his career in the Operations Department of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in Hong Kong.  He later transitioned into the financial industry, where he developed his second career.  Before joining our firm, Sun worked at various asset management companies across the region and served as a Responsible Officer (Type 9: Asset Management) licensed by the SFC for years.
