About Mr Hui
Mr Hui joined Tony Kan & Co. in 1987 and became a partner in September 1988. He retired from the partnership in 2007 and remains as a consultant.
Prior to joining us, Mr Hui had worked in the Hong Kong Government for more than 15 years. He first served in the Royal Hong Kong Police Force. He was appointed as a Crown Counsel of the Attorney General's Chambers in 1983 and was promoted to Senior Crown Counsel in 1985. His services with the Attorney General's Chambers involved practising both in the prosecution and civil litigation divisions.
While serving in the Attorney General’s Chambers, Mr Hui was a legal advisor to the Immigration Tribunal, the Civil Service Disciplinary Committee and also a member of the team of Police Civil Advisors. He had been engaged as a part-time lecturer to various law courses organized for bank personnels of Bank of China and its associated banks. He was also a marker for the Company Law examination of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants.
Mr Hui has served as an independent non-executive director of Le Saunda Holdings Ltd (Stock Code: 0738) since 2007 and Max Sight Group Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 8483) since 2018.
